Bloom Early Education
Giving every child room to bloom
Bloom Early Education, a Perth childcare and early learning group, is built around a simple belief: every child should have the space, support and encouragement to grow in their own way.
When we began working together, Bloom was preparing to grow from a single centre into a network of thoughtfully designed early learning spaces, with new locations already in the pipeline.
Working with Bloom’s existing identity, we helped develop the brand and digital experience for that next stage of growth, bringing together strategy, messaging, illustration, website design and marketing to create a warm and distinctive brand that could connect with families and scale with the organisation.
01
The challenge
Turning an ambitious growth vision into a brand families could feel
Bloom had a strong vision for the kind of early learning experience it wanted to create, alongside plans to open a number of new architecturally considered centres.
The challenge was to translate that vision into a brand experience that families could immediately understand and connect with, while creating a digital and communication system flexible enough to support new locations as the organisation grew.
Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, we helped clarify Bloom’s audience, articulate its vision, mission and educational philosophy, and shape those ideas into clear, engaging communication.
The goal wasn’t simply to explain what Bloom offered. It was to create a brand experience that could express the warmth, care, belonging and possibility at the heart of the organisation, while giving the growing network a consistent foundation.
02
The strategy
Building a connected brand system around Bloom
The metaphor of blooming was already at the heart of Bloom’s name, room structure and Bloom Cycle. We took that existing foundation and developed it into a connected verbal and visual system that could shape how the brand communicated with families.
We built Bloom’s messaging around growth, belonging, connection and each child’s individual journey, weaving these ideas through the vision, mission, educational philosophy, website copy, room descriptions and wider customer journey. Illustration compositions were also created to represent the different stages of the Bloom Cycle, giving the metaphor a recognisable visual expression.
At the heart of the strategy was an understanding of what parents are really looking for when choosing early education: not simply nice facilities and programs, but reassurance that their child will be seen, cared for and supported to thrive.
03
The visual world
Expanding the Bloom vision into a visual world
Building on Bloom’s existing identity and established green and coral palette, we developed a richer, nature-inspired visual language and illustration system.
We curated botanical elements, adapted them to Bloom’s palette and composed them into larger scenes and arrangements for the website, digital content and marketing. Flowers, leaves, butterflies and other natural elements brought growth, wonder and play into the brand.
We also selected the strongest existing imagery and captured new brand photography across the new centres, creating an expanding visual library for social media, launch campaigns and ongoing communications.
Together, the illustration compositions and photography created a warm, recognisable visual system that could continue to evolve as Bloom grew.

The digital experience
A digital experience that brought Bloom’s philosophy to life
Our childcare website design for Bloom blended its strategy, messaging and visual world into an experience designed to help Perth families understand not only what the centres offered, but what it would feel like for their child to be there.
The messaging was shaped to communicate the care, thought and intention behind Bloom’s educational philosophy, helping parents see the people, environments and values behind the brand.
Illustration, photography and copy worked together to make that vision tangible, creating a digital experience that felt warm, nurturing and considered while giving families clear pathways to explore centres and take the next step.
05
marketing plan & rollout
Creating a framework for new centre launches
As Bloom prepared to open new centres, we developed a marketing plan to support each location from early awareness through to opening and ongoing community engagement.
The plan connected the brand across digital marketing, social media, content, local activity and centre communications, creating a consistent experience as families discovered Bloom and got to know the organisation.
We then helped bring the early phases to life, creating launch creative, blog and social content, photography and digital assets before ongoing activity transitioned to Bloom’s internal teams.
06
search & storytelling
Helping families discover Bloom and understand what made it different
We created a series of locally relevant articles for Bloom’s centre websites, helping more families discover the brand while giving them a deeper understanding of the educational philosophy and experience behind it.
The content explored themes such as belonging, early learning approaches and everyday life at Bloom, using real centre photography to make those ideas feel tangible and relevant to each local community.
Each article was designed to do more than help people find Bloom. It gave parents a deeper sense of the philosophy, values and experience behind the brand, while offering a clear next step towards learning more about the centre.
07
The outcome
A brand designed to grow
Bloom emerged with a clearer strategic foundation, a richer visual and verbal expression, and a connected digital and marketing system designed to support its next stage of growth.
The marketing plan and launch framework generated pre-enrolments ahead of each new centre launch, with many centres opening to substantial enrolment lists.
Many parents have commented on the warmth and care they feel in the brand, especially when they first visit the website.
Bloom has since grown from a single centre into a much larger network across Perth’s southern suburbs, with a brand and digital presence designed to evolve alongside the organisation.
